What better first post than a post that lets you get to know more about me. This blog is all about letting you in on my life and sharing things that I enjoy with you and this post serves as the perfect introduction! Here are the top 10 things you should know about me!

1. I Love Modeling

I love to model. I have been modeling for the past two years, and have booked my own jobs with companies such as Altar'd State, Mac Duggal, and Marc Defang. Recently I made the decision to sign with Heyman Talent as a commercial and print model. I am so excited for this adventure and cannot wait to see where this opportunity takes me. With the experiences I have had, I have noticed that no modeling job is alike, and that is my favorite part. I love the different styles for each company and the knowledge I have gained from each job.

2. Baking

Baking is one of my favorite hobbies. I have been baking since I was very young. I graduated from making prepackaged goods like cookies to making everything from scratch. In my family I am “famous” for my heath bar cookies, turtle cheesecake, homemade cinnamon rolls, and strawberry cheesecake. 

3. Working Out

I love to workout. Although working out and baked sweets do not complement each other in the best way, I cannot choose one over the other. I love all workouts, rock climbing, kickboxing, weights, and even cardio.

4. Thrift Shopping

Thrift shopping is the way to my heart. I go thrifting for unique clothing items, shoes, accessories, and even find myself shopping for baking utensils. A few of my favorites include Goodwill, Karm, and Planet Exchange. If you do not feel comfortable thrift shopping in person, there is an app called Thred-Up where you can thrift online!

5. Pageant Competition

Pageants have shaped me into the person I am today. Without pageants I would have never thought to create a lifestyle blog, reach out of my comfort zone, discovered the belief I have in myself, created my mission project K.A.T.E, or have a platform to use my voice for the things that I believe in. 

6. School

I am a senior in high school. Being a senior during the pandemic is nothing like I imagined. However, I am thankful that I was able to attend school and see my classmates one last year. One of my highlights of the year was being a part of the homecoming court. I was so grateful for the opportunity and had the best time. 

7. Traveling

In my future, I really want to travel the world. I have never been out of the United States so it would be such a cool experience to go to places like Japan, Paris, the Bahamas, and Germany. Along with visiting these Countries, I would love to learn the languages too. 

8. Reading

I am developing a love for reading and journaling. I love mixing it up with either a good inspirational or crime book. One book I recommend is Good Morning Gorgeous by Dale Smith Thomas. It is all about discovering your gorgeousness from within and even has a place to take notes.

9. Goals

Consistently journaling is one of my goals for 2021. So far, I have loved writing down the things that happen throughout the day and things I want to accomplish in the future. 

10. My Home State

I love my home state of Tennessee. It is the absolute perfect place to live. After all, it is home to the Smoky Mountains, Nashville, beautiful lakes, and most of my family. Even though I plan to travel in the future, I know that Tennessee will always be my home.
